Open Access Policy
The Revista de Segurança, Desenvolvimento e Defesa (RSDD) fully adopts the open access model, ensuring free, immediate, and permanent availability of all its content, with no financial, legal, or technical restrictions for readers.
The RSDD ensures that the copyrights of published works are retained by the authors, who grant the public broad permissions for use through an open license. This means that any user may access, read, download, copy, redistribute, print, search, reference, index, mine data from, or use the content for any lawful purpose, provided that the conditions of the adopted license are observed and proper attribution of authorship is ensured.
All articles published in the RSDD are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits sharing and adaptation of the content, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and to the journal.

Through this policy, the RSDD reaffirms its commitment to the broad circulation of scientific knowledge and to the principles of open science in the fields of Security, Development and Defense.
Digital Preservation
This journal uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) for long-term digital preservation. The PKP PN ensures that the journal’s content is preserved and remains permanently available.
The journal is also compatible with the LOCKSS system.
