About the Journal

The Revista de Segurança, Desenvolvimento e Defesa (RSDD) is an academic journal open to the entire scientific community interested in the field of Security, Development and Defense (SDD) and related topics.

Published by the Escola Superior de Defesa (ESD), the journal aims to disseminate the results of scientific research and to encourage the production of relevant knowledge, thereby contributing to the formulation, implementation, monitoring, and promotion of public policies, governance, and management in the field of SDD.

RSDD is taking its first steps. We hope that many of its articles will open important frontiers of knowledge in SDD, both in Brazil and abroad.

Focus and Scope

The Revista de Segurança, Desenvolvimento e Defesa (RSDD) is an academic journal whose purpose is to promote, encourage, and disseminate research and studies on topics in the field of Security, Development and Defense. The journal publishes scientific articles and policy papers on current topics of interest to the field, reviewed through a double-blind peer review system.

 Publication Frequency

The Journal is published semiannually, in digital format. It features original scientific articles, invited papers, and unpublished policy papers.
