About the Journal
A Revista de Segurança, Desenvolvimento e Defesa (RSDD) is an academic journal open to the entire scientific community with an interest in the field of Security, Development, and Defense (SDD) and related topics.
Published by the Brazilian Defense College (Escola Superior de Defesa – ESD), the Journal aims to disseminate the results of scientific research and to encourage the production of relevant knowledge, thereby contributing to the formulation, implementation, monitoring, and promotion of public policies, governance, and management in the field of SDD.
A Revista de Segurança, Desenvolvimento e Defesa is taking its first steps! We hope that many of its articles will open important frontiers of knowledge in SDD, both in Brazil and abroad.
Focus and Scope
A Revista de Segurança, Desenvolvimento e Defesa is an academic periodical whose purpose is to promote, encourage, and disseminate research and studies on topics within the field of Security, Development, and Defense. It publishes scientific articles and policy papers on current and relevant issues for the area, all of which undergo double-blind peer review.
Publication Frequency
The Journal is published semiannually, in digital format. It features original scientific articles, invited papers, and unpublished policy papers.
